Free Cost Estimating Software Offered

SPRINGFIELD, MA (October 1, 2005) - MTI Systems Inc., the leading provider of innovative cost estimating software solutions for manufacturing, announced today that it is offering manufacturing organizations worldwide a FREE initial seat of their Costimator® OEM or Costimator® JS (Job Shop) software programs. The offer is limited to one software seat per company, requires the purchase of training and is valid through 12/31/05'. 

The MTI Systems offer is being made in conjunction with the anticipated new release (version 8.0) of their Costimator OEM and Costimator JS programs, both due out on December 1, 2005. 

The use of Costimator OEM, the leading manufacturing cost estimating tool for over 23 years, is enabling OEMs worldwide to determine what their parts Should Cost, allowing them to implement uniform and predictable costing strategies while realizing cost savings as much as 20–50%. The system also allows design and cost engineers to evaluate functional or design differences in parts to determine which design is most cost effective.
