MTI Systems Confirms Contract With Major Manufacturer For Costimator OEM Software

W. SPRINGFIELD, MA (June 21, 2004) - MTI Systems, Inc. today announced that Caterpillar Inc. has purchased a Corporate License of their Costimator OEM cost estimating software.

Costimator OEM is—the first of its kind—software solution that helps OEMs estimate the cost of manufactured parts. The system allows design and cost engineers to evaluate functional and design differences in a part to determine which design is most cost effective.

“Costimator OEM helps OEMs implement effective costing strategies by breaking down and quantifying the true costs of manufactured parts.
