MTI Systems Announces the Release of Costimator V10.0
Newest Version Offers Significant Expansion of Process, Feature and Product Type Cost Models
WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA - January 26, 2010 - MTI Systems, the leading provider of cost estimating solutions for manufacturing, today announced the release of Costimator V10.0. A summary of new functionality introduced with this new release is provided below:
Cost Modeler Enhancements
Cost Modelers in Costimator version 10 can now convert between English and Metric. If a cost model was created in English and is used in a Metric part, all the measures of the displayed values will appear as Metric units.
New Cost Models
80 new Process, Feature and Product type cost models have been added to the Cost Modeler library.
Work Center Rates
The work center database now has the ability for the Allowance, Setup Base and Setup per Tool to be individually set for each Plant.
Sequence of Standards
This feature adds the ability to change the order in which standards are displayed when an operation is added to a part.
Select Work Centers by Plant
Only those work centers available for a specific plant are displayed when developing an estimate for that plant location.
Calculation Input Fields
Costimator 10 now gives users the ability to input a formula into any numeric input box.
Part Save As
By using the Save As feature the user can save the current part under a new part number. This will treat the current part as a new part and not rename or delete the previously saved part.
Export Reports
Costimator now includes export scripts of each of the Costimator stock reports.
Microsoft SQL Server 2008
Costimator is now compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
Updated Documentation
Costimator version 10 includes completely updated documentation and online help files.
JobBOSS Integration
The Costimator link has been updated to work with JobBOSS 11.1.0.
