Sandblasting

The user of this data is assumed to have a manufacturing background with the need to know all of the details of this model.

Process - Sandblasting

1. Enter the "Surface Area of Part".

The part shape can be round, square or irregular within reason.

2. The "Table Size (Diameter)" is defaulted to 8 feet.

The user can change if desired.

3. The "Cycle Time" for sandblasting is defaulted to 8 minutes.

The user can change.

4. The "% Table Utilized" is defaulted to 50 percent. User can change.

5. The "number of Pieces/Load" is calculated.

6. The final "Time per Piece" is the time to sandblast each part based on the criteria above.

Time per piece is based on 50% usage of the table.
