Internal Grinding
The "Grinding Time" is calculated based on the material type and amount of stock removal and handling. Machining recommendations came from review of the "Machining Data Handbook", 2nd Edition.

User Input
1. Select the "Part Weight Range"
2. Enter the "Part Dia. to Grind"
3. Enter the "Traverse Length to Grind"
4. Enter the "Depth to Grind" or stock removal radially.
Example: If the Depth to Grind were .030 and the original diameter was 3.000, then the final diameter size would be (3.000 + (2*.030)) or 3.060.
5. Select the "Material Group".
6. The program will check the Traverse Length and select the proper wheel width.
7. The "Infeed rough, finish and through feed" is calculated by the program.
8. The "Traverse Time" is calculated by the program.
9. The Roughing and Finish grinding time and handling time is calculated by the system.
Calculates all grinding time and handling.
General recommended wheel sizes for ID Grind are:
Hole Dia. 0-0.500 use up to 90% of hole size
Hole Dia. .500-2.000 use up to 85%
Hole Dia. 2.000-6.000 use up to 80%
Hole Dia. greater then 6.000 50-70%
