1. Enter the "Traverse Length to Grind" on the part.

2. Enter the "Depth to Grind" or stock removal radially.

Example: If the Depth to Grind were .030 and the original diameter was 3.000, then the final diameter size would be (3.000- (2*.030)) or 2.940.

3. Select the "Material Group".

4. The "Grinding Time" is calculated.

Based on the material type and amount of stock removal and handling. Machining recommendations came from review of the "Machining Data Handbook", 2nd Edition.
