Laser Cut
The user of this data is assumed to have a manufacturing background with the need to know all of the details of this model.
Data built around a combination of Trumpf and user experience.
No handling allowed. It is considered part of the cycle while one part is running; the other parts are removed from the sheet.
No allowance for rapid traverse is considered because motion is to be cutting not moving to positions.
Multiple parts in a sheet are not considered here. That would require a different model. In this model, the estimator is inputting the size of one piece only. This reasoning behind this is that multiple different parts can be made out on one sheet of the same thickness. That is an unforeseen or calculable event, therefore the calculation is based on a per piece time.

User Input
1. Select "Material Type"
2. Select "Material Thickness"
3. Enter the "Cut Distance (Periphery)
4. Enter the "Number of Holes"
5. The program will calculate the "Cut Time/Inch"
6. The program will calculate the total Time for cutting, piercing and rapid traverse.
