Notch

Included here is the process for notching out a window or end cutout in sheet metal.

Distance between Notches is the Average Distance between the center of the Notches. That is calculated by the system.

Rapid Traverse is the speed of the machine traveling between Notches.

Notching is a metalworking operation in which the punch removes material from the edge or corner or window of a blank or part.

Features - Bends

1. Enter the total distance from the first punched shape to the last punched shape.

This is the total distance the machine will travel for this type of shape.

2. The final "Time per Piece" is the total time it takes to punch this shape plus machine rapid traverse time in the part.
