ID, Edge Chamfers
This Cost Model (CM) is normally used for Cylindrical Type Parts.
User Input
1. Enter "Part Diameter Size"
This is the adjacent diameter whereby the chamfer is desired to be machined onto the part.
2. Enter the "Length of Chamfer"
That is the longest length (side) of the chamfer. These types of chamfers are normally in the .030-.250 length size produced on the ends of shoulders and end of the part.
The program will now calculate the number of cuts and speeds and feeds based off of the detail method in Costimator. The final time is based on that master data.
