Jay Snow, Regional Account Manager Jay joined MTI Systems in 2002 and has been instrumental in developing and maintaining client relationships. "It’s very satisfying", Jay says, "to help customers solve their estimating problems and see how they become more profitable because of it." When not focusing on MTI customers Jay’s past time activities include bartending, cooking and piano playing along with his interest for fun-in-the-sun activities.

A: Yes, in fact a recent survey of our existing supplier customers showed the 3 top benefits of using Costimator, with their median responses in parentheses, are an increase in RFQ win percentage (25%), a decrease in non-profitable jobs (80%) and reduced estimating time (25%).

Q: Can I build my own proprietary cost models within Costimator or do I have to pay MTI to do that for me?

A: Many of our customers edit existing or build new cost models within Costimator, on their own, through the use of IQ Builder, a parametric cost modeling tool within Costimator.

"Aerofab, initially set up to be a sheet metal shop, ventured into the machining end of the business several years ago. The archaic cost estimating system that was place was insufficient for accurately quoting machined parts. Since the installation of the Costimator system, we have become master machine shop estimators! It was quite easy even for an individual whom had absolutely no hands on experience in machining.
