On September 16-17, 2008 MTI hosted its inaugural Costimator OEM Users Conference. Presenters at the conference included representatives from Caterpillar, IBM, CNH, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Oshkosh Corporation, Lenovo and Hamilton Sundstrand.

Aaron Martin, Applications Engineer Aaron came to MTI with over 12 years experience in Manufacturing processes and estimating. “Being part of the MTI team has been a truly rewarding experience. Whether it’s providing Job Shop training or Should Cost services for an OEM, it’s a great feeling knowing you have Costimator backing you up.” Aaron was born in Massachusetts and lives with his wife and 3 children in the beautiful Quaboag Hills Region.

He enjoys spending time with his family, performing music with great musicians, hiking, and Futbol.

To Answer Your Questions

Q: Can Costimator display multiple estimates on the screen at the same time so a user can work on several estimates at the same time?

A: Yes, in Costimator you have the option of displaying multiple estimates on the screen at the same time in either a cascade or tiled format.

Q: Can a user drag and drop an operation from one estimate to another?

A: Yes, Costimator gives users the ability to copy or move an operation both within the same estimate as well as from one estimate to another by clicking on an operation, then dragging and dropping it to the desired spot.
