Standards Handbook

The Costimator Standards Handbook contains more than 800 machine and piece handling standards, including standards for gaging and material handling elements. The handbook also offers complete guidelines for the non-cutting costs of fabricating parts and assemblies.

Specifically designed for estimators, this handbook is also a vital tool for industrial engineers, value engineers, time study personnel, and research and development departments. The book also provides extremely useful information for in-house work guidelines and estimating outside purchases.

The Standards Handbook is divided into three sections:

SECTION ONE - Divided into master standards, gage elements, and material handling elements. Each element is briefly described and is shown in hours, minutes, and seconds.

SECTION TWO - Provides detailed descriptions of each standard. These include: restrictions such as weight of part, distance traveled, how a part is moved to a machine, and the department or machine for which the standard was originally designed.

SECTION THREE - Lists sixty generic departments. Each has its own library of machine and piece handling standards. And again, each standard is shown in hours, minutes, and seconds.
